FAQ – escape room in Warsaw
-
Very! Return of the Sorcerer is a great choice for families with kids and young fans of magic, but grown-ups have just as much fun. There are no jump scares, and the puzzles are based on logic and teamwork. For the youngest players you can add an animator (50 PLN/h).
-
If you dream of magic and a Harry Potter vibe, go for Return of the Sorcerer – it’s the room where observation matters most. The solutions are hidden in the details, so the team that looks around carefully and says out loud what it has found comes out on top. It works well as a first escape room and when playing with children. If you prefer a Jumanji-style adventure, pick Call of the Jungle. Its puzzles are logical and varied, and there are plenty of interesting props inside. It’s also a bit more challenging, so if you want to rack your brains a little harder, that’s the one. Both rooms are for 2–5 players, last 60 minutes and work great for families, couples and groups of friends. With a bigger group you can play both and race against the clock.
-
The price depends on the number of players and the day and time. You’ll find the full price list under the Pricing tab, and available slots right away when you book online. The birthday person gets 30 zł off when paying on site – just show a document with your date of birth.
-
Whatever works for you – we accept cards, cash, and BLIK.
-
Definitely yes. You can do it through our website, by phone, or via the lock.me portal.
-
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before the game. After that, unfortunately, the fee is non-refundable. If you don’t show up and don’t let us know – the reservation is cancelled and you’ll need to cover the costs.
-
You can play with fewer people – the room is yours. No need to change the reservation, just come with however many of you are left.
-
You have up to 60 minutes to solve the room – sometimes you’ll manage faster. Pop in a few minutes before your slot so we can brief you calmly.
-
None. All you need is logical thinking, teamwork, and a bit of patience.
-
Communicate! Say out loud what you’ve found. Share tasks. Don’t keep anything secret from your team.
-
Absolutely. A large share of our guests are playing for the first time, so it’s an everyday thing for us. We explain the rules before you go in, and during the game you can ask for a hint whenever a puzzle slows you down. Return of the Sorcerer is the gentler starting point, while Call of the Jungle offers a bit more of a challenge.
-
Nothing bad. The game master comes in, shows you what was left, and you can chat about how close you were. Or how far. No one’s judging.
-
We run games in Polish and English. Let us know when booking if you need the English version. English-speaking players and visitors from abroad are very welcome.
-
There’s no minimum age – our youngest guest so far was just 4 months old. Younger children can play together with an adult who joins them in the room. From the age of 12, players can take part without an adult inside. You can also add an animator to look after the youngest players during the game – 50 PLN per hour.
-
Yes, absolutely! Our rooms don’t require any physical effort. There are also no jump scares or stressful effects.
-
No running, jumping, or heavy lifting required. The puzzles challenge your brain, not your muscles. However, you do need to climb stairs to reach us.
-
Your safety is our top priority. We never lock anyone in – the door stays open the whole time and you can leave the room whenever you like. Our staff watches over the game the entire time.
-
Yes, but we don’t recommend it – from experience, it’s not as fun. If there are more of you, you can play in two rooms.
-
Yes, but not here. Celebrating is great – but at our place you play sober, so we won’t let in anyone clearly under the influence of alcohol (no refund); the puzzles need a clear head. Play first, and save the celebrating for right after.
-
No – no photos or videos during the game (spoilers!). But after the game, we’ll happily take a souvenir photo for you.

We’re at ul. Ząbkowska 18/LU1 in Warsaw, in the Praga-Północ district, right by the Koneser Praga Centre and the Wileńska Gallery. The entrance is from ul. Brzeska – next to the 77 Ink tattoo studio and opposite the Pallone ice cream shop. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the Dworzec Wileński metro station (line M2), and nearby you’ll find the Dworzec Wileński and Ząbkowska tram and bus stops.
-
Ząbkowska is inside Warsaw’s paid parking zone – charges apply Monday to Friday, 8:00–20:00. In the evenings, at weekends and on public holidays street parking is free, so for most games you’ll park at no cost. If you prefer a covered car park: at Koneser (entrance from ul. Białostocka) the first hour is free and each following hour costs 4 PLN, while at Galeria Wileńska the first two hours are free for customers.

You’re welcome to bring a cake and share it in our waiting area. If you’re organising a children’s birthday and would like someone to look after the group beyond the game itself, you can add an animator for 50 PLN per hour.
-
Ooh, that would be something! Write to us – we’ll do our best to help arrange a surprise in the room.
-
Sure – a voucher for a game is a great gift for a birthday, the holidays or a thank-you, and the recipient picks the room and date themselves. Order one via the form on our Voucher page – transfer details will arrive by email, and once the payment is booked we’ll send the voucher as a PDF. Vouchers are valid for 12 months.
-
Sure, drop us an email. We’re open to interesting ideas.

Awesome, we’re so glad! You can leave a review on lock.me or on Google Maps – it really makes a huge difference and helps others find us. You can recommend us to your friends – word of mouth is great advertising. You can also come back with a different crew and try another room! Thank you so much!
